The 2020 Cooking Competition has been cancelled. We hope to host the event next year.

Do you have a recipe that is a staple at your game day gatherings?  Enter it in OFL’s annual Cook-Off!  Make your favorite game day food- appetizers, soups, chili, desserts and more are all welcome!  Prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd and People Choice!

  1. All food must be homemade- No store-bought dishes.
  2. All food must be cooked ahead of time.  Open flames/chafing dishes are not allowed at the event. An oven and microwave are available if you need to rewarm dishes upon arrival.
  3. Participants must bring their own serving utensils.  Library will provide tasting plates, cups, forks and spoons.  Expect to offer sample size tastings for 50-75 people.
  4. Please provide a list of ingredients to avoid complications with food allergies.  If you are willing to share your recipe with the public, please bring a copy.  The library will make copies to share at the public tasting.
  5. Registrants must bring their entry to the library’s community room at 1:30pm on Sunday, March 1st.  Registrants are expected to stay to serve their entry through the public tasting, which lasts until 3pm.   Winners will be announced at 3pm.
