OFFSITE at Green Lakes State Park

Join NYS Parks Central Region Regional Wildlife Tech Billy Sullivan and Onondaga Free Library’s Digital Services & Technology Librarian for a two-hour guided bird walk through Green Lake State Park’s Bird Conservation Area. Spot Eastern Meadowlark, Bobolink, Grasshopper Sparrow, Rose-breasted Grosbeak, Eastern Wood-Pewee, American Redstart, and more, as we explore Green Lakes BCA’s scenic forest tracts and expansive grassland habitat. Perfect for both experienced and first-time birders alike. 

Directions to the exact meeting location will be emailed to all registrants approximately two days prior to the walk.

As this is an outdoor event, we encourage all participants to dress for the weather and to wear sturdy shoes for walking/hiking.
